Quynh Luu: Focusing on directing communes to achieve the new rural standard.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 4, 2014, the Standing Committee of the Quynh Luu District Party Committee held a meeting with the secretaries of grassroots Party committees for December.

At the meeting, representatives from the District People's Committee, the Party secretaries of various units, the district Party committees, the Fatherland Front, and other mass organizations in the district contributed many ideas to improve the report and proposed additional suggestions and recommendations regarding the leadership and management of the Party committee and government.

Comrade Le Duc Cuong, Secretary of the District Party Committee, delivered a speech giving directions.

Currently, the District People's Committee is finalizing the dossiers to propose awarding the title of "Outstanding Artisan" to 7 individuals. National defense and security are maintained, and many activities are being organized from the district level down to the grassroots to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army. Party and government building work continues to receive attention and guidance, implementing Directive 36 of the Politburo and guiding documents from the Central Committee, Provincial Party Committee, and District Party Committee on Party congresses at all levels. District departments, agencies, mass organizations, and grassroots Party organizations are being directed to evaluate and summarize the year 2014; and urged the communes of Quỳnh Thạch, Quỳnh Hậu, and Quỳnh Đôi to register for the New Rural Area program in 2014 and complete the remaining criteria.

Concluding the conference, the leaders of Quynh Luu district emphasized the key tasks to be implemented in the coming period: continuing to direct the people to care for winter crops and prepare conditions for spring production in 2015; directing the work of preventing hunger and cold for livestock; focusing on directing land clearance and accelerating the construction progress of key projects; strengthening tax collection, especially collecting outstanding tax debts; promoting and organizing the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 25th anniversary of the National Defense Day; organizing the 2nd Quynh Luu Television Cup tennis tournament; continuing to implement the second phase of the measles-rubella vaccination campaign; directing the acceleration of the construction of new rural areas; appraising and evaluating the recognition of Quynh Thach and Quynh Hau communes as achieving new rural area standards; and preparing well the contents and conditions for the end-of-year 2014 sessions of the District People's Council and the People's Councils of communes and towns…/.
