(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 15th, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Quynh Luu district, along with representatives of the Women's Union of the district, visited and presented gifts to Tran Manh The, a child in Dai Tan village, Quynh Long commune, who lost his mother when he was just over one month old.
Tran Manh The was born to a mother with terminal liver cancer. After birth, Manh had to be kept in an incubator and was not able to breastfeed at all. Unable to bear the pain caused by the terrible disease, his mother passed away when Manh was just over a month old. Currently, due to extremely difficult circumstances, Manh's father is unemployed, and the living expenses for the two young children and an elderly mother are uncertain.
