Quynh Luu implements the Prime Minister's Decision on frontline workers

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 8, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district held a conference to implement Decision 49/2015 of the Prime Minister on the regime and policies for frontline laborers participating in the resistance war against France, against the US, the war to protect the fatherland and performing international duties.

Overview of the Conference.

The conference provided guidance and agreed on a number of contents and procedures for reviewing and approving policies and regimes according to Decision No. 49 of the Prime Minister.

The subjects covered by this Decision include: Conscripted laborers participating in the resistance war against France, against the US, the war to protect the Fatherland, performing international duties, mobilized and centrally managed by the Administrative Committee or People's Committee at the commune level or higher or by competent agencies and units, assigned to serve combat for military units or serve on battlefields, in the resistance war against France; the resistance war against the US, the war to protect the Fatherland in the southwestern border, the northern border, performing international duties in Laos, in Cambodia...

Those who meet the prescribed conditions will receive a one-time subsidy, including 3 levels: under 1 year, 2 million VND; from 1 year to under 2 years, 2.7 million VND; from 2 years or more, 3.5 million VND.

In addition, the above subjects will enjoy health insurance and funeral expenses according to regulations.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ho Ngoc Dung - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee requested the sectors and localities to closely coordinate and grasp the content of Decision 49 and related circulars and directives to promptly implement them in the right spirit and meaning, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" of our nation.

He suggested promoting widespread propaganda among the people so that the subjects can grasp the policy, at the same time, guiding the declaration and preparation of documents, organizing the review to ensure seriousness, accuracy, and compliance with the process.
