Quynh Luu donates 150 wheelchairs to people with disabilities.
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of July 30th, in Quynh Luu district, the Provincial Association for the Protection of Disabled People and Orphans organized a ceremony to donate wheelchairs to disabled people in Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town.
To facilitate mobility for people with disabilities, and with the support of the Provincial Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphaned Children, the provincial association donated 150 wheelchairs to people with disabilities in Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town.
These wheelchairs were donated by the American Humanitarian Wheelchair Mission and the "Returning Childhood" organization in Da Nang, each wheelchair costing nearly 2 million VND. The donation of wheelchairs to people with disabilities will contribute to encouraging and helping them to overcome challenges and integrate into society.
The Provincial Association for the Protection of Disabled People and Orphans donated wheelchairs to disabled individuals.
On this occasion, the Association for Disabled and Orphaned Children of Quynh Luu District also donated 150 gifts to disabled people in the district and Hoang Mai Town, with a total value of 15 million VND. The association also organized a training session on assembling and using wheelchairs with the aim of teaching disabled people the techniques for using, adjusting, and operating wheelchairs.
