Quynh Luu: Implementing Party building tasks for 2013.
(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, January 9th, at the District Guest House Hall, the Quỳnh Lưu District Party Committee held a conference to summarize Party building work in 2012 and to implement tasks for 2013.
In 2012, the work of Party building and strengthening the political system in the district continued to be enhanced and achieved considerable results. Party committees at all levels focused on leading and directing the effective implementation of Central Committee directives; the Provincial and District Party Committee plans on studying, researching, understanding, and implementing Central Committee Resolutions 3 and 5 (11th Congress); in particular, the implementation of Central Committee Resolution 4 created confidence among cadres, Party members, and the people.
The study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's moral example, in accordance with the spirit of Directive No. 03-CT/TW dated May 14, 2011, of the Politburo, has seen many positive changes. Party committees at all levels have established support units, implemented the directive, and encouraged cadres and party members to register their commitment to emulation; incorporated the implementation of Directive 03 into branch meetings; built ethical standards among cadres and party members; developed exemplary collectives and individuals; and assigned responsibility to party members to guide and assist disadvantaged units in developing economic development models...
National defense and security work was maintained, complaints and denunciations were promptly resolved, and crime was suppressed without any hotspots occurring. Attention was paid to building grassroots Party organizations, especially in units with weaknesses. During the year, the district admitted 335 new Party members, granted full membership to 293 comrades; issued 285 Party membership cards; and awarded Party badges to 1,147 Party members. Inspections were conducted on 342 grassroots Party organizations and 371 Party members; supervision was carried out on 145 Party organizations and 309 Party members; the implementation of thematic programs was supervised on 127 organizations and 127 Party members; and disciplinary action was taken against 1 Party organization and 69 Party members for disciplinary violations. Throughout the district, 38 grassroots Party organizations achieved the title of "Strong and Excellent," representing a rate of 38%.
District leaders presented certificates of commendation to Party branches that achieved the "Strong and Excellent" rating in 2012.
In 2013, the District Party Committee continued to innovate and effectively implement the organization of research, dissemination, and concretization of Central Committee resolutions, especially Resolution No. 6 (11th Congress); Resolution No. 4 "Some urgent issues concerning Party building today"; promoted the implementation of Directive No. 03 on studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh; strengthened the training and development of political, professional, and responsibility-level cadres and civil servants at all levels; emphasized the comprehensive implementation of inspection, supervision, and Party discipline enforcement tasks; and focused on leading and organizing the successful implementation of socio-economic, national defense and security targets and the building of the political system.
At the Conference, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee awarded certificates of merit to 9 grassroots Party organizations that achieved the title of outstandingly clean and strong in 2012; awarded certificates of merit to 23 Party branches under the Party Committee that achieved the title of outstandingly clean and strong for 3 years (2010 - 2012), and 33 Party members who met the criteria of being qualified and excellently completed their tasks for 3 consecutive years (2010 - 2012).
