Quynh Luu: Posthumously awarding titles to 7 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 26, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district held a ceremony to posthumously award the State honorary title to 7 "Heroic Vietnamese Mothers".

Speaking at the ceremony, the leader of Quynh Luu district emphasized: In the revolutionary struggle, the Vietnamese people and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers sacrificed everything, dedicating to the country generations of heroes who made the glorious history of the nation. Today's descendants always remember the heroic martyrs, families with revolutionary contributions who devoted themselves to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Quynh Luu district leaders awarded certificates of recognition to the mothers' relatives.

Over the past years, the Party committees and grassroots political systems of Quynh Luu district have carried out many practical activities to care for and support Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; taking care of every meal and sleep of the mothers to somewhat ease the pain of loss.

On this occasion, Quynh Luu district had 7 mothers posthumously awarded the honorary title of “Heroic Vietnamese Mother”. Up to now, the whole district has had 269 mothers awarded and posthumously awarded the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother by the State./.
