11 year old male student drowned in waves while swimming in the sea

On the evening of May 26, Mr. Vo Van Ly - Chairman of Nghi Thuy Ward People's Committee, Cua Lo Town said that local authorities are working with local people to search for a child swept away by floodwaters.
Initial information, at noon of the same day, Nguyen Tien D. (11 years old), residing in block 3, Nghi Thuy ward, and some friends went to the beach to play. Here, D. and 2 other friends went swimming in the sea.
Because he couldn't swim, the waves engulfed him. A while later, his friends couldn't see him so they panicked and called his family.
Upon receiving the information, local authorities and the family immediately went out to search. However, due to the large waves, the victim had not been found until 9 p.m. the same day.
