While washing her hands and feet in the canal, a woman was swept away by the current.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 13th, information from the Dien Yen commune authorities in Dien Chau district (Nghe An province) indicated that they are searching for a woman who went missing after falling into a canal in the area.
According to initial information, at around 11:30 AM on June 13th, residents spotted a woman riding a motorbike who stopped to wash her hands and feet in the N20 canal section passing through Hamlet 4, Dien Yen Commune. While washing, she slipped and fell into the canal, and was swept away by the current and disappeared.
The victim has been initially identified as Pham Thi Hong, approximately 30-35 years old, residing in Hamlet 2, Dien Kim Commune, Dien Chau District.

Local authorities are currently coordinating with relevant agencies and residents to search for the victim.
