Launching a book series about Yen Thanh district.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 14th, in Hanoi, Yen Thanh district held a launch event to introduce the book series on Literature, Poetry, Folk Poetry and the book "Yen Thanh: Historical Sites and Scenic Spots".

Attending and presiding over the event were Comrade Nguyen The Ky, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; leaders of Yen Thanh district; representatives of press agencies; and a large number of people from Yen Thanh living and working in Hanoi.

This four-volume set includes Yen Thanh Poetry, Yen Thanh Prose, Folk Poetry, and Yen Thanh Historical Sites and Scenic Spots. It is a commemorative book set celebrating the 26th Congress of the Yen Thanh District Party Committee (2015-2020 term) and in preparation for the 180th anniversary of the name Yen Thanh (1837-2017).

The book "Poetry of Yen Thanh" was introduced at the launch ceremony.

The book series features works by 200 authors who were born and raised in Yen Thanh, as well as authors born in Yen Thanh but working and living in other rural areas, and authors from other localities who live and work in Yen Thanh district.
