Launch of Thai Folk Song and Ethnic Instrument Club

(Baonghean.vn) – On August 29, Tong Xan village, Thach Ngan commune (Con Cuong) launched the Thai Folk Songs and Ethnic Musical Instruments Club. This is the 16th club established in Con Cuong.

The Tong Xan Thai Folk Song and Instrument Club was established with the aim of preserving and promoting Thai folk songs, dances, music and instruments, discovering and nurturing the core of the local cultural and artistic movement. At the same time, organizing the teaching of Thai folk songs, dances and music, contributing to the education of traditions for the younger generation.

The club has 15 members, mainly aged 50-60, who are talented, passionate and dedicated to the traditional Thai music identity on a voluntary basis. The club is chaired by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoai. At the ceremony, the Board of Directors approved the operating regulations, organized regular activities once a month and contributed operating costs.

This is the 16th Thai Folk Song - Musical Instrument Club established in Con Cuong district, making an important contribution to the preservation and promotion of the cultural beauty of the homeland and contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.
