The memoir "From Hoa Lo Prison to the Governor-General's Palace of Northern Vietnam" has been launched.
To commemorate the 67th anniversary of the August Revolution (1945-2012), Hanoi Publishing House has just released the book "From Hoa Lo Prison to the Governor-General's Palace of Northern Vietnam" - memoirs of historical witness Le Trong Nghia (Doan Xuan Tin), one of the two members of the Hanoi Uprising Committee of August 19, 1945.

The book, over 160 pages long, includes sections such as: "Stories about Comrade Tran Dang Ninh," "The struggles and contacts between the Viet Minh and the Tran Trong Kim government in Hanoi," "Memories of a historic August," "From the autumn of August in Hanoi, recalling memories in the port city," "Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh and the fundamentally great victory of the August Revolution," "Following in Uncle Ho's footsteps from the capital to the resistance zone"... From 1995 to the present, the author has carefully written and revised the book, and it has only now been published.
The memoir is written in a concise style, with carefully chosen yet vibrant words, highlighting the jubilant atmosphere of the national celebration. It is a valuable documentary gift that helps readers understand more about a historical period and the generation of ancestors who made the historic August Revolution of 1945 and established the revolutionary government in Hanoi.
