Launching helicopter tour services.

On July 20th, at Gia Lam Airport, KLF International Investment Joint Venture Company, together with its partner, Northern Vietnam Helicopter Company (VNH), held a ceremony to introduce the EC 130 T2 helicopter tourism service, the first of its kind in Northern Vietnam.

Mr. Tran Dinh Nam, Head of the Commercial Department of VNH, said that previously, helicopter services were limited to charter flights serving the oil and gas industry. Using helicopters for sightseeing tours at low altitudes will provide tourists with more interesting experiences when traveling in Vietnam.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Helicopter Corporation, believes that with the world's most modern helicopter – the EC 130 T2 – and Vietnam Helicopter Corporation's over 30 years of experience in this field, helicopter tourism services using the EC 130 T2 will be a perfect service.

The EC 130 T2 is a state-of-the-art aircraft equipped with cutting-edge technologies, such as vibration control systems, modern navigation systems, and flotation devices. Additionally, it features a glass cabin for enhanced visibility, air conditioning, and spacious seating for 1-2 pilots and 5-6 passengers. These features ensure maximum comfort, safety, and a superior flying experience for passengers.

Utilizing modern, fuel-efficient technology and a lightweight payload, the EC 130 T2 significantly reduces operating costs per flight, resulting in a cost of only around $2,400 per hour – half the price of other helicopters such as the MI 17, MI 172, or EC 155 B1. Therefore, the EC 130 T2 is ideal for groups of fewer than six people.
