The pilot model "Cybersecurity, Steadfast Digital Transformation" was launched at Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.
The model aims to build Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital into a shining example in digital transformation, ensuring cybersecurity and protecting personal data.

On the afternoon of April 2nd, Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital (Nghe An Department of Health), the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention and Control Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) organized a conference to launch the pilot model "Safety in Cyberspace – Steadfastness in Digital Transformation" at Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital and presented the Commemorative Medal of the Minister of Public Security.
Attending the conference were: Colonel Le Van Thai - Deputy Director of the Nghe An Provincial Police; Nguyen Van Thuong - Deputy Director of the Nghe An Department of Health; representatives from the Vinh City Party Committee; officers from the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department and the Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.

Digital transformation is an inevitable trend for the healthcare industry to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, optimize management processes, and better serve patients. In recent years,Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics HospitalThe hospital has actively applied information technology and digital transformation in its medical examination and treatment work. A prime example is the official implementation of electronic medical records by the hospital in 2021.
However, during the digital transformation process, the hospital faces numerous threats from cyberattacks, including malware, data theft, supply chain issues, and limited understanding, all of which can lead to significant risks.

Cybersecurity threats in the healthcare sector are a serious concern because they can alter medical records, change treatment plans, medication dosages, and ultimately affect patients' lives.
To protect healthcare information systems, patient data, and ensure safe and sustainable operation,Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics HospitalWe have collaborated with the Nghe An Provincial Police to develop and implement a pilot model of "Cybersecurity – Steadfastness in Digital Transformation".

Aiming to build the hospital into a shining example in digital transformation, ensuring cybersecurity and protecting personal data, Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital and the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) have developed a plan to jointly implement the model.
The collaborative activities include: Organizing awareness campaigns, installing and using the Signet application; Strengthening the dissemination and education of laws on cybersecurity and combating high-tech crimes; and promoting knowledge, skills, and awareness of compliance with legal regulations in cyberspace.

Develop applications and technological solutions to facilitate coordination, information exchange, and a hotline for receiving, processing, and assisting in resolving incidents and violations related to cybersecurity risks; report and denounce violations related to the use of high technology; and inspect and scan information systems, computer systems, applications, and software used in the hospital's professional work to promptly detect and proactively address vulnerabilities, shortcomings, and deficiencies in the operation and use process.
At the conference, on behalf of the Minister of Public Security, Colonel Le Van Thai, Deputy Director of the Nghe An Provincial Police, presented the "For the Cause of Protecting National Security" commemorative medal to Associate Professor, Dr. Tang Xuan Hai, Director of the Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital.
