Launching the Tam Tai Fund in Ho Chi Minh City

(Baonghean.vn) -April 25th,Nghe An Talent and Compassion FundThe launch ceremony was held in Ho Chi Minh City. Attendees included Mr. Le Doan Hop - Chairman of the Tam Tai Nghe An Foundation; Mr. Nguyen Canh Nam - Chairman of the Nghe Tinh Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City; and professors, associate professors, doctors, principals of several universities and colleges, as well as prominent entrepreneurs, businesses, student representatives, and artists from Nghe An currently working and living in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Heart and Talent Fund of Nghe AnEstablished under Decision No. 4676/QD-UBND-VX dated November 20, 2012, of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, this is a non-profit social organization chaired by Mr. Le Doan Hop, former Minister of Information and Communications, and six founding members. The Fund officially launched in Nghe An with an initial capital of nearly 3 billion VND, contributed by businesses owned by Nghe An natives in the North, Central, and South regions of Vietnam.

Nghe An Talent and Compassion Fundwith the lotus flower symbol and slogan “For our beloved homeland."Operating on a voluntary and non-profit basis, its aim is to encourage and motivate organizations and individuals, both domestic and international, who have contributed to the development of Nghe An province, as well as Nghe An residents studying and working in their homeland who have achieved exceptionally outstanding results, thereby contributing to the building and development of their homeland and country.

At the launch event in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Le Doan Hop stated:“Homeland – two sacred words that have become ingrained in the subconscious of every person. No matter where they are, everyone always looks towards their homeland, the kind and hardworking mother who toils from dawn till dusk. The establishment of the Nghe An Talent and Heart Fund aims to contribute to nurturing talented individuals and honoring those who have made significant contributions to their homeland. The Fund hopes to receive the attention and support of organizations, individuals, and sponsors both domestically and internationally to build a more civilized and prosperous homeland of President Ho Chi Minh. This year, the Fund will mobilize approximately 4-5 billion VND more from entrepreneurs, businesses, and philanthropists to implement several activities that the Fund has outlined.”
