(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 14th, at Nghia Dan Industrial Park, Thang Nam Forestry Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to launch its plywood product. Witnessing the launch were leaders of Nghia Dan district and leaders of the company's affiliated units.

The May Forestry Joint Stock Company's MDF wood and fiberboard processing plant project commenced construction in February 2013 on an area of 40 hectares in Nghia Dan Industrial Park with a total investment of 300 million USD. The project is divided into two phases. Phase I, with a total investment of over 100 million USD, includes two production lines: processing lumber with a capacity of 12,000 m³.3/year and MDF fiberboard processing line with a capacity of 130,000 m²3/year.

After more than two years of construction and equipment installation, this afternoon (December 14th), May Forestry Joint Stock Company officially launched its first plywood product. According to the company's leadership, the plywood produced by the factory meets international quality standards and is competitive in demanding markets such as the US, Japan, and the EU, thanks to the investor's selection of the best technology and equipment suppliers in the world.
The factory utilizes continuous forming and compression equipment from Dieffenbacher (Germany), a world-leading supplier of plywood equipment; fiberboard production technology from Metso (Sweden); chipping, cleaning, and storage technology from Hombak/CMC (Germany); product sanding technology from Steinemann (Germany); and final product cutting technology from Anthon (Germany).
