The MDF wood and fiberboard processing factory project of May Forestry Joint Stock Company started construction in February 2013 on an area of 40 hectares in Nghia Dan Industrial Park with a total investment of 300 million USD. The project is divided into two phases, phase I with a total investment of more than 100 million USD includes two production lines: processing wood bars with a capacity of 12,000 m3/year and MDF fiberboard processing line with capacity: 130,000 m3/year.

After more than 2 years of construction and equipment installation, this afternoon (December 14), May Forestry Joint Stock Company officially launched its first plywood product. According to the report of the Company's leaders, the plywood products produced by the Factory meet international quality standards and are competitive in demanding markets such as the US, Japan, and the EU thanks to the investor's selection of the best technology and equipment suppliers in the world.
The factory uses continuous shaping and compression equipment from the world's leading plywood equipment supplier Dieffenbacher (Germany); wood fiberboard production technology equipment from Metso (Sweden); chip chipping, cleaning and chip storage technology from Hombak/CMC (Germany); product sanding technology from Steinemann (Germany); product cutting technology to final size from Anthon (Germany).
