Launching the Representative Office of the Vietnam Association of Overseas Vietnamese Studies in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - Improve the content of regular activities, continue to launch publications on "The Tale of Kieu". That is the orientation at the launching ceremony of the representative office of the Vietnam Kieu Studies Association in Nghe An.
On March 17, 2017, in Vinh City, the Vietnam Kieu Hoc Association in Nghe An held a ceremony to launch its representative office and held the first term Congress (2017 - 2022). Attending the ceremony were Mr. Phung Van Tinh - Vice President of Vietnam Kieu Hoc Association; representatives of the Propaganda Department, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department and a number of provincial departments and branches; poetry associations in the area, the Vietnam Kieu Hoc Association in Ha Tinh and nearly 60 members. |
The representative office of the Vietnam Kieu Studies Association in Nghe An was established on March 20, 2016 on the basis of the "Kieu Story Coffee" group in Vinh City (established in 2008).
After its establishment, the Representative Office of the Vietnam Kieu Studies Association in Nghe An has focused on improving the quality of regular meetings (once every 2 months). Each meeting has 7-10 articles on the topic of "Truyen Kieu" and the Great Poet Nguyen Du. The articles are compiled into the anthology "Truyen Kieu over a cup of coffee" (volume 1).

On this occasion, Nghe An Kieu Hoc Association organized the first term congress (2017 - 2022) with the orientation of maintaining the number of members and improving the content of regular meetings, continuing to launch publications. The congress elected the Executive Committee and the Inspection Committee; Mr. Tran Mai Loc continued to be the Chairman of the Association.
