The reason these 94 candidate profiles are "suspended" is because the profiles are unclear or there are complaints or denunciations.
Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Manh Hung said: "Following the direction of the Prime Minister, the Minister of Education and Training has requested the State Council for Professor Titles, the Industry Council, and the Inter-Industry Council to carefully and seriously review the candidate profiles."
Accordingly, the Minister of Education and Training has established an inspection team with the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Education and Training as the core. The inspection team is responsible for carefully reviewing records and documents and working directly with relevant organizations and individuals.
Prof. Dr. Bui Van Ga, Vice Chairman of the State Council for Professor Titles (CDGSNN), said that the Ministry Inspectorate will conduct an inspection of the records to verify more about where the guest lecturers are? Which class? Transcript? Number of teaching hours, who are the postgraduate students supervised? Which school? Or what teaching contracts are there with the schools, how are the contracts liquidated... The Ministry Inspectorate's working group will re-inspect to ensure the truth. If true, the CDGSNN Council will make it public for the public to know.
It is known that during the inspection period, some qualified candidates on the reviewed list submitted withdrawal applications.
The results of the review of 94 professors and associate professors will be reported to the State Council for Professor Titles at the upcoming meeting, scheduled for the end of March.
