Currently in Yen Thanh district, there are still many cases of residential land located within the road traffic safety corridor that have not been resolved. Photo: D.C. |
Through the actual inspection, the provincial traffic safety corridor clearance inspection team highly appreciated the implementation of the Traffic Safety Committee of Yen Thanh district. At the same time, it was noted that currently in My Thanh, Tang Thanh communes, towns,... there is still a situation of re-encroachment on traffic corridors to place signs, billboards, fixed roofs, along with gathering goods.
Notably, in My Thanh commune, there is currently a situation where a private enterprise is using traffic corridor land to build factories and store machinery. The incident has been prolonged but has not been resolved.
In addition, with a length of more than 130 km of national and provincial highways in Yen Thanh district, they have just been upgraded and recognized, so there are currently many cases where land of individuals and organizations is located within the road boundary.

The working group pointed out the remaining problems after the clearance of the Traffic Safety Committee of Yen Thanh district. Photo: D.C. |
The working group requested that the District Traffic Safety Committee coordinate with local traffic management units such as CTGT 487 Construction and Management Joint Stock Company, Road Management Sub-Department II, VHT Construction and Management Company, Nghe An Waterway and Road Traffic Construction Management Joint Stock Company to inspect and handle post-clearance and prevent re-encroachment.
For cases where current housing projects are located in traffic corridor land, due to upgrading from district roads to provincial roads (538C, 538, 538D, 538E, 537), provincial roads to national highways (National Highway 7B, National Highway 48E), the district needs to review, count, and determine the boundaries between land of households, individuals, agencies, units and land of roads along both sides of the route, to promptly report for handling.
