Intensive pursuit of the murderer who slit the throat of a motorbike taxi driver and stole his vehicle
Picking up a motorbike driver wearing a technology motorbike taxi uniform along the road, the subject asked the victim to take him to an empty lot, then pulled out a knife, slit his throat and stole the motorbike.
On the afternoon of July 11, the professional units of Thu Duc District Police, Ho Chi Minh City are focusing their forces to urgently arrest the subject who used a knife to cut the neck of a motorbike taxi driver and robbed his motorbike in Binh Chieu Ward, Thu Duc District.
According to initial information, on the afternoon of July 10, Mr. Dinh Hoang My (born in 1973, from Phu Yen province, working as a motorbike taxi driver) wore a motorbike taxi uniform, drove a Sirius motorbike with license plate 78 (Phu Yen) through Nguyen Tri Phuong street, Di An ward (Binh Duong province) and met a young man who hailed a motorbike and hired him to take him to Binh Chieu Industrial Park.

At more than 5:00 p.m. the same day, when arriving at the 66-hectare project land, in KP1, Binh Chieu ward, Thu Duc (bordering Thuan An town, Binh Duong province) where there were no people passing by, this subject from behind pulled out a knife (a box cutter) and put it against Mr. My's neck.
The victim resisted and was slashed in the neck, causing serious injuries. He bled profusely and collapsed on the street. Immediately afterwards, the suspect stole the motorbike and escaped towards Binh Duong.
The American victim was discovered by local residents and taken to Thu Duc District Hospital for emergency treatment. The incident was reported to the local police. That same night, Thu Duc District Police extracted camera footage from the area and deployed forces to hunt down the perpetrator.

On the afternoon of July 11, Thu Duc District Hospital said that at around 5:40 p.m. on July 10, the hospital's emergency department received victim Dinh Hoang My in a complicated condition due to a knife cut in the neck area about 15cm, severed right neck muscle, and a lot of blood loss.
The victim was quickly given emergency surgery. The victim is now out of danger and is being treated at the Vascular Thoracic Department.
