Malabar spinach can treat bone and joint pain.
Malabar spinach is familiar to everyone, but few people know about its many benefits.
Homemakers are certainly familiar with Malabar spinach, a common dish in summer meals. Malabar spinach is believed to help cool down the sweltering heat of summer.
Not only is it an ideal food for meals, but Malabar spinach also helps men with ejaculation problems, increases milk production, treats constipation, and detoxifies the body...

Malabar spinach is considered cooling in nature, making it suitable for summer. Both Eastern and Western medicine confirm that this vegetable has a laxative effect. Studies also show that it helps eliminate fat, making it beneficial for people with high blood fat and blood sugar levels.
According to herbalist Huyen Thao (Hanoi), in addition to being used in daily meals, Malabar spinach is also used in several medicinal remedies to treat ailments such as constipation, chronic rectal bleeding, urinary retention, frequent urination, scanty urination, chest tightness and discomfort, and to stop bleeding and promote wound healing.
Here are some ways to use Malabar spinach:
Increasing milk production for postpartum mothers: Women who have low milk supply after childbirth will produce more milk by eating Malabar spinach. Malabar spinach contains vitamins A3 and B3, saponin, mucilage, and iron, making it beneficial for postpartum women. Dishes made from Malabar spinach with stewed black chicken and black beans, eaten hot, will help postpartum mothers produce more milk, recover quickly, and have rosy skin and shiny black hair.
To cool the body, detoxify, and treat constipation: Cook 500g of Malabar spinach with fish sauce, salt, soy sauce, and vinegar to make a soup to eat with rice daily. After a few days of use, bowel movements will become regular and constipation will be relieved.

Malabar spinach has a cooling effect, so it should be consumed with caution by people who often experience stomach chills and diarrhea.

For radiant, rosy skin: Malabar spinach leaves also have skin-nourishing effects. Eating Malabar spinach helps improve blood circulation and bowel movements, resulting in smooth, youthful skin. Alternatively, to nourish the skin, smooth wrinkles, and prevent dryness, you can crush a few young Malabar spinach leaves to extract the juice, add a few grains of salt, and apply evenly to the face several times before bed.
Treatment for vaginal discharge and weakness: Take one black chicken, a handful of Malabar spinach leaves, and a handful of black beans. Simmer until tender and eat hot, including the broth and solids. Once or twice a week. When you see results, add a handful of soybeans and two handfuls of peanuts. This dish helps women recover after childbirth and makes their skin rosy and their hair black and shiny. It is also good for people with stomach pain and heartburn.
Treating wounds and relieving joint pain: The juice extracted from Malabar spinach can help heal burns quickly. Stewing Malabar spinach with pork trotters and a little wine and eating it daily will help treat joint pain.
Treating erectile dysfunction: Spinach, sweet potato leaves, centella, and chicken or duck offal, cooked into a soup and eaten hot, can effectively treat erectile dysfunction in men.
Treatment for nocturnal emissions: Take a handful each of Malabar spinach, soybeans, and peanuts, and cook them with 1-2 kg of pork bones (marrow bones are better). Simmer the pork bones thoroughly in a pressure cooker before adding the soybeans and peanuts, and finally add the Malabar spinach and cook for another 10 minutes. Eat hot, and drink hot water afterward.
Treatment for premature ejaculation: In cases of premature ejaculation followed by fatigue, weakness, and paleness after intercourse, take a handful of Malabar spinach and a handful of red amaranth, cook them with a pair of pig's testicles (with the fat and membrane intact), and eat while hot. After eating, drink hot ginger tea. Before going to bed, eat one spoonful of roasted black sesame seeds, chew thoroughly until finely ground, then swallow, and then drink a cup of rice wine.
Note: Malabar spinach has a cooling effect, so use it cautiously if you are prone to stomach chills and diarrhea. To reduce its cooling effect, cook it thoroughly or combine it with other animal-based foods.
