According to Ms. My, the water spinach and chemicals are both purchased in Ho Chi Minh City. After being put into the shredder, the water spinach is soaked in two large pots containing chemicals. After just a few minutes, the chemicals stick to the water spinach stems, creating an eye-catching green color. Every day, the facility produces about 300 kg of shredded water spinach, which is transported to the wholesale market in Ba Ria for sale.
