Real currently has 11 points after six rounds. Besides Betis, the teams ranked above coach Zinedine Zidane's team include Barca (18 points), Atletico (14), Sevilla (13) and Valencia (12).

Despite their poor form, Real Madrid could bounce back strongly if they can get back to their best. Ronaldo and his teammates will face Espanyol, Getafe, Eibar, Girona and Las Palmas in the next five games before visiting city rivals Atletico's Wanda Metropolitano.

Real also went through a similar difficult period at the beginning of last season with three consecutive draws. And after overcoming, the Bernabeu team won both La Liga and the Champions League.
