FIFA has just announced the schedule for the 2016 FIFA Club World Cup. This is a playground for champions from different continents.

According to the schedule, Real will participate in the tournament held in Japan from December 8-18 this year. At this time, Real has only identified 2 opponents: Club America (North and Central American champion) and Auckland City (Oceania champion). This is the third time Real has competed in the FIFA Club World Cup (the previous two were in 2000 and 2014). Club America has also participated on par with Real, while Auckland City has participated in the tournament that brings together champions from each continent eight times.

This year, the two stadiums honored to host the 2016 FIFA Club World Cup are Suita City (Osaka) and Yokohama (Yokohama). Previously, when Japan hosted the Club World Cup, the matches took place at two locations: Tokyo and Yokohama.
