Real Madrid continues to be the world's best-earning club |
Yesterday, Deloitte announced the revenue of the clubs in the 2014/15 season. In which, Real Madrid still leads the list with revenue of 439 million pounds, an increase of 21 million pounds compared to the 2013/14 season (when they won the Champions League).
It should be emphasized that in the 2014/15 season, Real Madrid was empty-handed in all competitions. Although the revenue from bonuses was affected, Los Blancos made impressive growth thanks to revenue from commercial activities. This is the 11th consecutive year that the Spanish Royal team has led the list of money earners.
Barcelona, after a successful season with the treble, surpassed MU to rank 2nd in this list. Specifically, Barcelona's revenue in the 2014/15 season reached 427 million pounds.
MU ranked 3rd with 395.2 million pounds. However, this is still considered an impressive "achievement" for the Red Devils because last season, they did not compete in the European Cup. That shows that the Manchester club has a solid foundation and they can completely make a leap in the future.
