Real Madrid stay at cheap hotel before final

According to AS, Real booked a room at the Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel, a popular destination for backpackers.

It is the 4-star Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel and Spa, where rooms cost around 80 euros a night.

According to travel guide site TripAdvisor, the hotel isn’t even in the top 10 hotels in the Welsh capital. Instead, it’s recommended to backpackers for its affordable prices.

However, the advantage of this hotel is that it is quite close to the Millennium Stadium, where the Champions League final will take place. Perhaps Real's management wants to shorten the travel distance as much as possible to ensure the safety of the players and the coaching staff. Not long ago, Dortmund FC was also bombed on the bus while on the way to the field.
