Playing against third-tier team Leonesa, Real had no trouble scoring more than half a dozen goals. After Zuiverloon scored an own goal in the sixth minute, two young strikers Marco Asensio and Alvaro Morata both scored a brace. At the end of the match, defender Nacho and reserve striker Meija were also on the list of goals for Real. For the home team, Benja's equalizer in the 84th minute could bring a lot of joy when forcing the reigning European champions to concede their 11th goal in 13 appearances since the beginning of the season.
With a big win in the first leg of the round of 32, Real is considered to have secured a ticket to the next round. The return leg on November 30 could bring another rain of goals.
