The agreement, drafted by Guaido, lays out a roadmap for elections within a month of Maduro's ouster and officially recognizes the opposition leader as the "legitimate interim president," according to a source from the US National Security Council. Ms Kang's statement came just days after North Korean Vice Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui said denuclearization would only be "possible when the US changes and reshapes its current calculations". Denuclearization talks between Washington and Pyongyang have made no progress since the February summit between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and US President Donald Trump in Hanoi failed to reach a common agreement.

Gasoline and diesel cars and motorbikes will be banned in the Dutch capital from 2030 in an effort to clean up the city's air, Amsterdam's city council said. "Pollution is a silent killer and one of the biggest health risks in Amsterdam," city transport councillor Sharon Dijksma said on May 2.
According toReutersDespite the fact that many Dutch people use bicycles, air pollution in the Netherlands is still worse than the European Union's permitted limits, mainly due to heavy traffic in major cities such as Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The Dutch Ministry of Health has also issued a warning that nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and fine particulate matter can lead to respiratory disease. Chronic respiratory disease can reduce people's life expectancy by more than 1 year.
