Rumors spread that North Korea will release 3 American prisoners in the next few hours
According to sources, North Korea may release American prisoners through the truce village of Panmunjom, on the demilitarized border with South Korea.
Americans arrested in North Korea on espionage or “subversive acts” charges may be released through the truce village of Panmunjom, part of the demilitarized zone (DMZ) between North and South Korea, the Daily Mail reported.

Yonhap News also cited an anonymous source as saying that North Korea and the United States agreed to release three Korean-American prisoners, Kim Hak-song, Tony Kim and Kim Dong-chul, through the village of Panmunjom on May 5. Another source said they could be released on May 6 or May 7.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump hinted at the possibility of the three being released on Twitter. The information came after the White House said it would consider the release as a show of goodwill from North Korea ahead of the summit.
In addition, Mr. Trump's lawyer also said that the release of the three prisoners would take place soon. CNN quoted a source as saying that this was proposed two months before the North Korean Foreign Minister visited Sweden.
