Bustling night of 'Spring Colors of Western Nghe An' festival in 2025
On the evening of January 20, in Chi Khe commune, Con Cuong district, the "Spring Colors of Western Nghe An" Festival 2025 took place.
Attending the gala were comrades: Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Thi My Hanh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports; Vo Van Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

Also attending were representatives of leaders of departments, agencies and districts: Con Cuong, Ky Son, Tan Ky, Anh Son and Tuong Duong. The program also attracted a large number of extras and thousands of people of Con Cuong district.

The 2025 "Spring Colors of Western Nghe An" Festival is chaired by the Department of Culture and Sports, in coordination with the District People's Committee.Con CuongOrganized. The program includes activities: folk song, folk music, folk dance performances; excerpts of traditional folk festival rituals and traditional costumes of Nghe An ethnic minorities; exchange of drumming, gongs, carving, and bamboo dancing to celebrate the Spring Festival between districts.

This is a special cultural event held annually for ethnic minorities in 11 mountainous districts of Nghe An province every time Tet comes and Spring comes. This year is the 10th year this event has been held, aiming to preserve and promote the good customs and practices of the ethnic communities in Western Nghe An during the traditional Tet holiday. At the same time, the program contributes to strengthening and consolidating the great solidarity of Vietnamese ethnic groups; encouraging the spirit of welcoming the New Year with a new spirit of the ethnic communities in Western Nghe An.

Through activities, the program also aims to introduce and promote potential.Western Nghe An tourismas a friendly and attractive destination for tourists in and out of the province.
The highlight of the Festival Night was the art program “The West is Radiant in Spring”, divided into 3 parts: “New Colors of the West”, “Echoes of the Mountains and Forests” and “The West is Radiant in Spring”. The special singing and dancing performances in the program told a vivid story about the cultural colors, folk arts, folk songs, folk music, and folk dances of the Kinh, Thai, Tho, Mong, Kho Mu, and O Du ethnic groups living in the West of Nghe An.

Earlier, in the afternoon of the same day, within the framework of the program, at the Chi Khe commune stadium, Con Cuong district, folk games of Nghe An ethnic minorities such as throwing con, walking on stilts, tug of war took place; along with tourism promotion activities, displaying and introducing typical cultural and tourism products of the people of Western Nghe An./.
