"For example, when I'm babysitting, it's just the two of us. When I speak English, he doesn't understand anything. He just feels happy when I talk a lot," wrote the midfielder of Hanoi FC and Vietnam national team.

Hung Dung has only recently started practicing speaking English under the guidance of a teacher. To speed up his progress, Dung studies anytime, anywhere, in the car and when he is with his family.
Foreign language is an important skill for any professional player, especially for players who play a lot in international arenas like Do Hung Dung and some teammates at Hanoi Club.
Head coach Chu Dinh Nghiem once shared about Doan Van Hau after his first days playing football in the Netherlands: "Van Hau is not inferior to European players in terms of expertise, but the lack of foreign language skills makes it difficult for Hau to communicate with teammates and the SC Heerenveen coaching staff."
A representative of Hanoi Club said that in addition to Hung Dung, other members of the team will learn English together in the near future, depending on the progress of the epidemic prevention campaign.
Also taking advantage of the V.League's long break, head coach Park Hang-seo of the Vietnamese national team also took advantage of his free time to improve his Vietnamese so he could communicate better with his students.
