Ronaldo made Champions League history with a streak of 10 games in which he scored.
Thanks to his brace against Juventus, CR7 became the first player to score in 10 consecutive Champions League matches.
Ronaldo's scoring streak began in last season's final, also with two goals against Juventus. Through six group stage matches this season, two round of 16 matches, and the recently concluded first leg of the quarter-final, CR7 has continued to score. In total, Ronaldo has 16 goals in this record-breaking streak.
The previous record belonged to Ruud Van Nistelrooy with a streak of nine consecutive games scoring goals in the 2002-2003 season (12 goals).

In addition to making history, Ronaldo also increased his total goals from the beginning of the 2017-2018 season to 39. This is the highest number of goals scored by a player in the top five European football leagues (Spain, England, France, Germany, and Italy) as of April 3rd.
Thanks to his latest brace, Ronaldo has now increased his total number of goals against Juventus to nine. The history of the Champions League has never seen a player achieve a higher number of goals against the same opponent.
Thanks to Ronaldo's excellent form, Real Madrid are almost certain to reach the Champions League semi-finals. The defending champions are close to winning their third consecutive title, while also forgetting the disappointments in La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
