Goals: Isco 8', Ronaldo 86', 89' - Tana 10', Viera 56', Boateng 59'.
Isco opened the scoring early but defensive errors saw Real equalise shortly afterwards. The home side were down a man from the start of the second half after Gareth Bale was sent off and conceded two goals in quick succession. With just four minutes remaining in the second half, Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice to help Real avoid a humiliating defeat at the Bernabeu.
With only one point, Real could not reclaim the top spot from Barca. Before that, Luis Enrique's team had a resounding 6-1 victory over Sporting Gijon at home. Real is now one point behind Barca but has played one game less. In one week, Real has played three matches in La Liga and only won four out of a possible nine points.
Isco's strike with less than eight minutes gone gave Real the confidence of an easy win, as they were playing a team in the bottom half of the table. However, the home side only enjoyed a two-minute lead in the game before Tana made a fool of Sergio Ramos to equalise.

In the 47th minute, Gareth Bale received two consecutive yellow cards. The Welsh star was given the first yellow card for kicking Jonathan Viera in the leg and the second yellow card for violent conduct against the visiting player. Bale lost control when Viera "smelled smoke" while dribbling in the middle of the field. He deliberately kicked the Las Palmas player in the leg and aggressively charged at the opponent after being pushed lightly by Viera.
Playing with one man down, Real conceded two goals in a row. The second goal was again marked by Ramos when he handled the ball, giving the visitors a penalty. Viera was the one who successfully converted the penalty kick. Three minutes later, Kevin-Prince Boateng scored the third goal for Las Palmas after deceiving goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
Trailing by two goals and playing with one less man, Real's efforts in the remaining time did not bring results against the crowded defense of Las Palmas. It was only thanks to Dani Castellano's handball that the "White Vultures" were able to score a goal from the penalty spot thanks to Ronaldo.

Three minutes later, the Bernabeu erupted as the Portuguese striker headed home against Las Palmas, a stunner from Ronaldo in the air at a crucial moment when Real had pushed all the way forward in search of an equaliser.
This is the first time Real have conceded three goals at the Bernabeu under Zidane and the first time Gareth Bale has received a red card since he moved to the Bernabeu in 2013. Real's draw is a source of encouragement for Barca and Sevilla and will make the La Liga title race more attractive in the remaining stages of the season.
