Invite each other to learn how to hack Facebook, scam and steal billions
Through the work of grasping the situation, the Major Crimes Department of the Criminal Police Department, Ministry of Public Security discovered a group of suspects involved in fraudulent activities to appropriate property on the Internet, and proposed that the leaders of the Criminal Police Department establish a special project to fight.
On October 21, the leader of the Major Crimes Department of the Criminal Police Department said that based on the collected documents and evidence, the Investigation Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security recently issued an order to detain people in emergency cases and conduct an emergency search of Nguyen At Hoi (born in 1995) and Van Ngoc Nghia (born in 1994), both residing in Quang Tri town, Quang Tri province.
The police seized 7 mobile phones, 2 computers, and 9 SIM cards related to the crime.

The investigation so far has determined that around March 2022, the subjects learned online about Facebook account hacking techniques and discussed and agreed to go to Ho Chi Minh City to rent a room, buy phones, bank accounts, motorbikes... to serve the purpose of fraudulently appropriating property on the Internet.
Every day, Hoi and Nghia use their personal computers to access the Internet and hack other people's Facebook accounts.
When hacked successfully, the subjects will take over the login rights, use these Facebook accounts to text their friends and relatives to transfer money to the bank accounts of the 2 subjects with the lowest amount of about 3 million VND, the highest is 21 million VND. The total amount of money the victims have deposited into the accounts of the 2 subjects from March 2022 to present is nearly 1 billion VND.
Currently, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency has issued a decision to prosecute and detain Nguyen At Hoi and Van Ngoc Nghia for fraud and property appropriation.
