On the evening of January 24 (ie the 30th day of the Lunar New Year), at Ho Chi Minh Square - Vinh city, Vinh City People's Committee coordinated with the Department of Culture - Sports to organize the New Year's Eve program to welcome the Spring of Canh Ty 2020.

The New Year's Eve Gala welcoming the Spring of Canh Ty 2020 is one of the activities to Celebrate the Party and Celebrate Spring on the occasion of the traditional New Year of the nation, organized by Nghe An province and implemented by Vinh city and the Department of Culture and Sports. The Gala is a rich, diverse and colorful form of cultural activity to meet the spiritual needs and enjoyment of cultural beauty of the majority of people.

The Gala Night program started at 9:15 pm and lasted until New Year's Eve. The program included many exciting dance, singing and dancing performances with the participation of famous artists such as Dang Thuat, Tran Trang, Que Thuong; along with artists from professional art troupes in the province, dance groups and Vinh city's mass art troupe.
