Sa Pa suddenly gets cold in the middle of summer
On the morning of June 10, the outdoor temperature in Sa Pa suddenly dropped, with an amplitude of more than ten degrees lower than the previous day. The temperature in Sa Pa was 16 degrees Celsius, the sudden cold weather surprised many tourists because they did not bring warm clothes.

Along with that, it rained so the weather in Sa Pa turned cold like real winter, forcing many tourists to buy warm clothes to protect against the cold. Shops selling winter clothes had a good time. Shops selling grilled foods such as eggs, corn, sweet potatoes... were crowded with customers, enjoying grilled foods in the cold weather.
According to Mr. Luu Minh Hai, Director of Lao Cai Hydrometeorological Center, the reason was that on the night of June 10, a strong cold air mass from the north poured down to Lao Cai, causing widespread rain, showers and thunderstorms.
This weather condition will continue for the next few days.
