Irregularities at Hoai Duc Hospital: Five more doctors and nurses suspended.
Five doctors have been suspended from their jobs for 15 days due to their involvement in irregularities in laboratory test results at the hospital.
As previously reported, regarding the irregularities and fraudulent test results at Hoai Duc District General Hospital in Hanoi, on the afternoon of August 8th, immediately after the Hanoi People's Committee decided to temporarily suspend the work of the Director of Hoai Duc District General Hospital, Mr. Nguyen Tri Liem.

The Hanoi Department of Health has also decided to temporarily suspend Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhien, Deputy Director of Hoai Duc General Hospital, for 15 days starting from August 8th to facilitate disciplinary action and investigation into legal violations at the hospital. Following this, Mr. Doan Thinh Truong, Deputy Director of Hoai Duc General Hospital, also signed a decision to temporarily suspend the following individuals for 15 days starting from August 8th: Doctor and Head of the Laboratory Department - Vuong Thi Kim Thanh; Nurse in the Laboratory Department - Vuong Thi Lan; and three technicians/contract workers in the Laboratory Department: Nguyen Dong Son, Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, and Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung.
On the same day, the Hanoi Department of Health seconded seven doctors and medical staff specializing in biochemistry and laboratory testing from Sait Paul Hospital, Dong Da General Hospital, and Ha Dong General Hospital to work at Hoai Duc District General Hospital from August 8th to February 7th, 2014.
