Samsung is recruiting workers at the Vietnam - Korea School.

(Baonghean.vn) - On April 21, more than 250 students of the Vietnam - Korea Vocational College of Technology participated in the labor recruitment organized by Samsung Vietnam.

The recruitment program is one of the contents to implement the agreement between Samsung Vietnam and Vietnam - Korea Vocational College of Technology on "recruiting Technicians to meet the human resource needs for expanding new factories and increasing production".

In 2017, this is the first time Samsung Vietnam has recruited at the school with the participation of 260 students preparing to graduate from college and intermediate level in technical majors such as Electricity, Electronics, Information Technology, Refrigeration, Welding Mechanics, Automotive Technology. To be admitted, students will have to go through two rounds, which are interviews and knowledge tests.

According to a representative of Samsung Vietnam, all qualified students can have the opportunity to be recruited and work at Samsung Electronics Bac Ninh and Samsung Electronics Thai Nguyen with a basic salary of 9 - 10,000,000 VND/month.

Along with Samsung Vietnam, the Vietnam and Korea Industrial Technical Vocational College has also signed a cooperation and labor supply program with 80 other domestic and foreign enterprises to create conditions for students to do internships, solve employment after graduation and provide advanced training for enterprises.

In 2015 and 2016 alone, 1,470 students found jobs after graduation, reaching a rate of nearly 90%, of which 1,120 worked in domestic enterprises, 210 were exported to Japan and Taiwan, and 44 studied abroad in Japan and Korea.

Also in the past two years, nearly 2,000 students have gone on practical production experiences at businesses and have been paid a total salary of nearly 27 billion VND.
