Vinamilk products impress at CIIE 2018 International Fair
(Baonghean.vn) - At the first China International Import Expo (CIIE 2018) held in Shanghai, Vinamilk's dairy products impressed many consumers in this country of more than 1.2 billion people.

This is an initiative of the Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping within the framework of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation held in Beijing in May 2017. Vietnam is one of 12 countries invited to participate in the fair as an honorary country.
CIIE 2018 is an important trade, investment and tourism promotion event that helps strengthen links with countries in the region, maximize the benefits brought by the ASEAN - China Free Trade Area, and increase the export of goods and services from Vietnam to China and ASEAN countries as well as from ASEAN countries to China through Vietnam's border gates.

Vinamilk - Vietnam's leading dairy company and also the company that has been honored as the most prestigious export enterprise in Vietnam, organized an exhibition and let Chinese customers try Vinamilk's products. Through the fair, Vinamilk's products received very positive feedback from visitors and were favored by Chinese consumers.
During his visit to China, Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the opening ceremony of the Fair, visited booths, and encouraged Vietnamese export enterprises. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc was particularly interested in and proud of Vinamilk, one of the Vietnamese brands widely known by consumers in many countries around the world.

Established in 1976, Vinamilk is the leading dairy producer in Vietnam and is in the top 50 dairy companies in the world. Vinamilk's brand value has been valued at 2.28 billion USD by Forbes Vietnam Magazine - the top valuable brand in Vietnam. This is also the dairy company that Nikkei Magazine has listed in the list of 300 best companies in Asia (Nikkei Asia300) for many consecutive years. According to Kantar Worldpanel, Vinamilk is the most chosen dairy brand by consumers in Vietnam for 4 consecutive years from 2014 to present.
Vinamilk's revenue in 2017 reached 2.3 billion USD (equivalent to 15.7 billion Yuan), of which export revenue reached about 200 million USD. Vinamilk currently has 13 factories, 10 dairy farms in Vietnam and also has 3 milk processing factories in the US, New Zealand and Cambodia and a subsidiary in Poland.
In addition to yogurt products that are popular in Vietnam and other countries, Vinamilk's product portfolio also includes: powdered milk, condensed milk, baby food, liquid milk, soy milk, fruit juice, ice cream and other soft drinks. Vinamilk's products all meet international standards such as HACCP, Halal... and are produced in a factory system that meets GMP standards and strict international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 14000, FSSC 22000, in which GMP is a mandatory standard for pharmaceutical factories and is encouraged to be applied to food companies in general.
In the domestic market, Vinamilk's entire liquid milk industry continues to maintain its leading position in the national market, with about 55% market share. In addition, Vinamilk also holds more than 80% of the yogurt market share, more than 80% of the condensed milk market share, and more than 30% of the powdered milk market share.
In addition, Vinamilk products are present in 46 countries and territories around the world, including countries with high requirements for product quality such as Japan, the US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, etc.

In September, Vinamilk also attended the 15th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO 2018) held in Nanning, Guangxi with its partners to introduce some of Vinamilk's typical products to Chinese consumers. In particular, the yogurt product is appreciated for its delicious taste, diverse types, suitable for the needs of the majority of consumers in this market of more than 1.2 billion people.
