The conference was attended by 119 connecting points of agencies and units in the entire army. Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff chaired the conference. Evaluation conference: In the first 6 months of 2014, agencies and units throughout the army have made great efforts and strictly implemented the training orders and directives of the Chief of the General Staff. Actively and proactively doing well the work of organizing and preparing for training. Practical training of the military, service branches, academies, schools, etc.; of the subjects (main force, militia, reserve mobilization, national defense and security education, etc.) and training contents (military, political, logistics, technical) are all guaranteed.

Typically, the Navy and the Coast Guard Command have successfully completed their training tasks, combat readiness, and peaceful struggle at sea, contributing to firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland. Military Region 2 has done a good job of training the contents of military parades and parades in the 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory; Military Region 5 has done a good job of building a system of shooting ranges, training grounds, and combat training grounds; Military Region 9 has well organized training activities and combat exercises with the content of practicing live ammunition firing at sea... The conference also pointed out the shortcomings and limitations such as unsafety in training (Air Defense - Air Force...), there are still a number of officers and soldiers violating military discipline and traffic safety...

Based on those strengths and weaknesses, the Conference clearly defined the direction for implementing training tasks in the last 6 months of 2014.
