Ready for the training launch day

(Baonghean.vn) - In harmony with the rhythm of life of military units across the country, these days, officers and soldiers of the 16th Artillery Brigade and the 215th Armored Brigade, stationed in Quynh Luu district, are actively completing preparations for the 2017 training launch ceremony taking place tomorrow (March 1).

This year, the 16th Artillery Brigade received and trained 270 new soldiers from the four provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Thua Thien Hue. Before the Lunar New Year, the unit opened many training courses for cadres and professional staff at all levels. At the same time, it mobilized thousands of working days to consolidate and repair training grounds, training grounds, and teaching model equipment, etc.

As a unit with a lot of experience in managing and training new soldiers, despite the difficult conditions, this year the PB 16 Brigade has proactively promoted its internal resources to invest in training facilities. Up to now, the Brigade has proactively invested in consolidating and renewing 2,000 teaching aid models, 50 training grounds of various types; vehicles have also been carefully repaired and maintained, ready for the new training season.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ba Hieu - Deputy Brigade Commander, Brigade PB 16 said: The highlight in the preparation for the training launch ceremony this year, the unit organized a contest to promote initiatives, improve teaching tool models at both levels, battalion and brigade. Through the contest, we aim to find new initiatives, truly effective models, serving the unit's regular training process, aiming to improve the quality of training in 2017 and the following years.

Like many other units, at the 215th Armored Brigade, the system of training grounds, training grounds, training facilities, and signboards have all been fully and synchronously renovated by the unit; the landscape, environment, and places for soldiers to eat and live are more spacious and clean.

In order to prepare well for the training launch ceremony, from February 26 to 28, the unit organized a sports festival with many exciting activities such as checking the team's regulations, practicing fire command on the sand table, practicing hanging hammocks in rainy conditions, deploying and operating the emergency tent for heatstroke, emergency transportation of wounded soldiers and techniques for emergency treatment of wounded soldiers...

Major Phan Ngoc Thanh - Commander of Tank Battalion 1, Brigade 215 said: "Along with good preparation of facilities, teaching aids... close to reality, we pay special attention to building programs and plans to educate the traditions of the military service, brigade, and battalion to build determination for officers and soldiers.

Learning from the experience of the previous year, identifying weak points and weaknesses to overcome, determined to excellently complete all training tasks and maintain the title of "excellent training unit" awarded by the Ministry of National Defense..."
