Ready to open N5 road to Nghi Thiet Cement Grinding Station
(Baonghean.vn) - Road N5 connecting Hoa Son commune (Do Luong) to Nghi Thiet commune (Nghi Loc) and Nghi Thiet cement grinding station (belonging to The Vissai Cement Group) will be put into operation at the end of April. The provincial working group has inspected the site and urged the progress.

On the afternoon of April 25, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the construction on N5 Road and Nghi Thiet Cement Grinding Station. Accompanying him were representatives of the Department of Transport, the Management Board of Dong Nam Economic Zone, and the People's Committee of Nghi Loc District. On behalf of The Vissai Cement Group, there were Mr. Hoang Manh Truong - Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Oanh - General Director of the Group and leaders of Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company. |
During a field inspection on route N5, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien acknowledged the efforts of the Department of Transport - the project owner, along with other sectors and localities in urging contractors to speed up construction to ensure the required progress.
Route N5, 29 km long, connects Hoa Son commune (Do Luong) to Nghi Thiet commune (Nghi Loc) to serve the transportation of raw materials for Song Lam Nghe An cement factory in Bai Son commune and serve the people. The construction is divided into 2 phases, with the goal of connecting the Western economic zone of Nghe An (Song Lam Cement Factory...) with the Southeast Economic Zone and Road D4 leading to the International Specialized Port, Nghi Thiet Cement Grinding Station...

Up to now, the entire route has basically been paved with the first layer of asphalt (about 27/29km), with about 2km remaining to be completed on April 28. Units have also accelerated the construction of markers, signs and connecting points for residential roads and intra-field roads, creating convenience for people on both sides of the route to travel and produce. According to the plan, on April 29, the Provincial People's Committee will organize a technical traffic opening ceremony for this route.

Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien and the delegation also inspected the construction of the Nghi Thiet Cement Grinding Station and International Port. At the site, nearly 800 workers from 7 contractors were actively completing the items. It is expected that the Nghi Thiet Cement Grinding Station will also be put into operation on April 29.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned specific tasks to the Department of Transport and the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone to closely coordinate with The Vissai Cement Group, Nghi Loc district and functional forces to prepare well for the above events.
