Industrial production in Nghe An is bustling after Tet holiday
(Baonghean.vn) - After the Tet holidays, many factories and construction sites have started production at the beginning of the year, to ensure orders for customers and create momentum for a successful new year.
At Sao Vang Fertilizer Factory, belonging to Nghe An Agricultural Materials Corporation, on the 6th day of Tet, nearly 100 workers were present to receive New Year greetings and start producing fertilizer for the spring crop.
Factory director Mr. Truong Van Hung said: Every day the factory produces 300 tons of NPK fertilizer, in addition to processing 100 tons of rice for people's consumption.

At Vinatex Hoang Mai Garment Factory, there are currently nearly 400 workers, and the main products are exported to Japan. Due to stable orders, the factory has started production to meet the export demand since the 5th day of Tet.
In charge of factory management, Ms. Luu Thi Bich Hang said: Because of the production of high-end products, it is very difficult to train skilled workers. To help workers mature and ensure productivity, after 2.5 years, the factory has not yet met the target. During the training period, workers receive subsidies, in addition, they receive products for each product they produce. Current income is about 4.5 million VND/person/month. 100% of workers here are covered by insurance.

Ms. Hang added: Luckily for the factory, most of the workers live nearby, so after Tet, everyone can work with peace of mind and there are no changes in personnel.
The factory has a capacity of 10.58 million products/year with a complete line of modern, synchronous Japanese sewing equipment invested by Vietnam Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) since 2014 with a total investment of more than 127 billion VND in Quynh Vinh commune.
The production atmosphere at the beginning of the year was also bustling from the 5th day of Tet at Hoa Sen Quynh Lap Steel Factory.
Mr. Huynh Phan Hieu - Deputy Director of Hoa Sen Steel Factory said: From the 5th day of Tet, nearly 500 workers were present in full production, and office staff were present on the 7th day. Overcoming difficulties and finding markets, the factory maintained a normal production pace, bringing an average of 1 million products to the market each month. Last year, with great efforts, the average income of workers reached 9 million VND/month. In addition to fully paying the budget, the regimes for workers were also guaranteed.

At many other factories across the province such as Song Con Sugar Factory, Nghe An Sugar Factory, TH Milk Factory... all employees have returned to work after the Tet holidays.
Sugar factories are in the sugarcane pressing season, so they have to start operating from the 4th day of Tet to keep up with the schedule. Last year, despite many difficulties, the factories tried to ensure the lives and policies for workers.

Besides factories and workshops that resumed operations after Tet, there are many factories that operate throughout Tet, such as cement, sugar, milk, and fertilizer. These factories have stable labor, while textile and garment groups, electronic component assembly, etc. regularly recruit more workers due to fluctuations in the number of workers after the holiday.
