Successfully produced many high-tech camouflage and decoy equipment

Closely following the military's equipment needs, Factory Z176 has focused on researching technology, designing, manufacturing and putting into production many defense products with high technical requirements such as camouflage nets and decoy models for combat.

On September 6, Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of National Defense, inspected Factory Z176, General Department of Defense Industry (GDDI). According to the People's Army Newspaper, Factory Z176 is a defense and security enterprise assigned to produce and supply decoy and camouflage equipment for the military.

Thoroughly grasping Resolution No. 06 of the Politburo on building and developing the defense industry, Resolution of the Central Committee 8 (Session XI) on the Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in the new situation, identifying defense production as a key task, closely following the equipment needs of the army, the factory has focused on researching technology, designing, manufacturing and putting into production many defense products with high technical requirements such as:

Anti-optical reconnaissance camouflage nets; camouflage models for combat (disguise models of S300 missile complex, Su-30 aircraft, T55 tank model); training air cushions, sandbags for fortifications, buoys for transporting weapons across rivers, rescue boats, camping tanks, personal tents...

On average, each year, the Factory provides the Army with millions of products of all kinds for training and combat readiness, contributing to strengthening national defense potential.

In the first 8 months of 2017, the factory provided the army with 330,900 products of various types, 27 valuable initiatives, generating a profit of nearly 3 billion VND.

Along with successfully completing national defense tasks, Factory Z176 also actively exploits dual-use equipment lines to produce products for the people and for export, ensuring jobs and stable income for workers.

After visiting the factory's products, on behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the results in production, work and construction of the factory in recent times.

The Deputy Minister of National Defense requested that Factory Z176 effectively exploit existing equipment lines, master new technology, focus production resources to promptly meet the quantity and quality of defense products and continue to research new products to serve the training and combat readiness requirements of the entire army.
