This morning, June 3, more than 41,000 candidates in Nghe An province taking the high school graduation exam took the Geography exam, which lasted 90 minutes, starting at 7:30 a.m.

After a hot day, this morning, the weather seemed to be cooler, from 6am, at Nghi Loc 3 High School, many candidates cycled to the exam with a confident and comfortable manner. Holding a geography map, ruler, calculator, etc. in hand, candidate Nguyen Van Binh said that on the first day of the exam, his father drove him, but today the weather was cooler while the farm work was very busy, so Binh went to school by himself, not bothering his parents. "I hope the geography exam will be within my ability, with creativity like yesterday's Literature exam," Binh said.
At the Nghi Loc 3 High School exam site, many other parents from coastal communes drove their children to the exam site this morning. “Although the children can go to school by bicycle, we are still not at ease at home, it has been like this for a long time, the child is taking the exam but the father is worried so we put off going to sea to take the child to the exam site”, Mr. Bui Van Ba confided after seeing his child off at the school gate.

Before taking the Geography exam, at the Huynh Thuc Khang High School (Vinh City) exam site, most of the candidates were quite excited, laughing and asking their friends about the test results yesterday. A group of students also discussed to "predict" today's exam. Many students were sure that the issue of sea and islands would be mentioned in the Geography exam, some affirmed that the exam questions would include issues such as natural resources, population, labor, employment, etc.

Thanks to the good work of inspection, examination as well as the dissemination of examination regulations, on the first day of the exam, there were no major problems in the province. According to the statistics compiled by the Department of Education and Training, on the first day of the exam, the whole province had 75 absent candidates, 4 cases of violation of examination regulations, of which 3 candidates brought documents and 1 candidate brought a mobile phone into the exam room, 1 service officer used a mobile phone in the exam area. Today, examination room discipline continued to be tightened to ensure a safe, serious and fair exam.
