Currently, most of the inner-village roads have been concreted, making travel convenient and creating a clean, beautiful landscape. According to the inner-village road standard, the concrete is poured to a width of 3.5m, but the people here agreed to widen it to 5m to make it more convenient for traffic as well as transporting agricultural products and goods. There is a shortage of cement, so people contribute money to buy more, not to mention contributing sand, gravel and labor to complete the roads soon.
Previously, in 2016, the land clearance for road expansion was planned and implemented. Initially, many households in the hamlet did not agree to donate land for road expansion because they had already built a fence and did not have garden land. Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen and members of the hamlet's Front Committee organized 4-5 meetings to dialogue with the people, then went to each house to persuade people to give up their land.
Finally, all households agreed to move the fences back into their gardens to widen the inner-village roads. Not only that, the people also voluntarily paid for the land clearance machinery and rebuilt the new fences themselves.
Along with the rural roads, the Cultural House of Hamlet 1, Nghi Dien Commune has also been invested in renovation and purchased additional equipment to serve propaganda work, meetings and community activities. Many people whose children are living and working far away have sent money to support the hamlet in repairing and purchasing equipment at the Cultural House, contributing to building a more civilized and clean landscape for their hometown.
In 2019, Hamlet 11 will certainly have two great joys, the first is being recognized as a Cultural Village, and a reception ceremony will be held soon. The second is that the people in the hamlet are making efforts to join the whole commune in reaching the new rural destination, and most of the basic criteria have been completed.
Hamlet 11 is located in the center of the commune, with many commune-level agencies, units and the Tan Yen parish church located in the area. The people here are always united, diligent and dynamic in economic development, so life is quite stable, the village is increasingly prosperous.
