According to the Central Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting Center, in the past 6 hours, Typhoon No. 1 has moved very little and intensified to level 9, with gusts reaching level 12.

Due to the influence of the storm, strong gusts of wind (level 11-12) were recorded on Bach Long Vi Island, level 9 on Co To Island, and level 6-7 along the coast of Quang Ninh and Hai Phong provinces. Moderate to heavy rainfall, and even very heavy rain, occurred along the coast of Quang Ninh - Nam Dinh provinces and in the North Central region.

At 05:00 on June 24th, the center of the storm was located at approximately 20.3 degrees North latitude and 107.1 degrees East longitude, about 70km southeast of the Quang Ninh-Thai Binh coast. The strongest winds near the center of the storm were at level 9 (approximately 75 to 90 km per hour), with gusts of level 12-13.

Forecasts indicate that over the next 12 hours, the storm will move in a west-northwest direction at a speed of approximately 5-10 km per hour and may intensify further before making landfall. By 4 PM on June 24th, the storm's center will be located at approximately 20.9 degrees North latitude and 106.4 degrees East longitude, over the Quang Ninh-Thai Binh area. The strongest winds near the storm's center will be at force 8-9 (approximately 60-90 km per hour), with gusts reaching force 10-11.

Due to the influence of the storm, the northern part of the Gulf of Tonkin (including the island districts of Bach Long Vi, Co To, Van Don, and Cat Hai) will experience strong winds of level 8, with winds near the storm's center reaching levels 9-10, gusting to levels 12-13. The sea will be very rough. Disaster risk level: level 3.

Coastal areas of Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Thai Binh, and Nam Dinh will experience strong winds of force 8-9, gusting to force 11-12; other areas in the Northeast will have wind gusts of force 7-8. Disaster risk level: level 3.

Over the next 12 to 24 hours, the storm moved northwest at approximately 10 km per hour, moving inland and weakening into a tropical depression, then a low-pressure area. By 04:00 on June 25th, the center of the low-pressure area was located at approximately 22.4 degrees North latitude; 105.8 degrees East longitude, over the northern mountainous region. The strongest winds at the center of the low-pressure area decreased to below level 6 (i.e., below 40 km per hour).

From June 24th to 25th, moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in the Northeast and North Central regions of Vietnam. A flood surge is expected on the Red River and Thai Binh River systems, with water levels rising by 3-6 meters in the upper reaches and 2-3 meters in the lower reaches. There is a high risk of flash floods, landslides, and mudslides in the provinces of Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Bac Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Can, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, and Ha Giang. The level of natural disaster risk is level 1.
