'Child Bride' star had miscarriage before passing away

Pratyusha Banerjee may have had a miscarriage or attempted an abortion which resulted in her uterus becoming infected.

Doctors at JJ Hospital (Mumbai, India) recently confirmed that actress Pratyusha Banerjee (25 years old) was pregnant and may have had a miscarriage shortly after she was found dead on April 2.

"The results of histopathological examination showed signs of conception in the uterus ofPratyusha. She may have had a miscarriage or abortion. This caused her to have an infection and degeneration in her uterus," troastTimesofindia quoted the doctor.

Some obstetricians say it is difficult to determine the identity of the fetus's father because there is no remaining tissue.

The test results were then passed on to the police for investigation. Details of the gestational age were not disclosed.

In connection with the incident, Rahul Raj Singh - boyfriend ofPratyusha Banerjee - continues to face allegations from the actress's family. Her fatherPratyusha recently filed a lawsuit against the hospital whereRahul was treated because he believed the hospital received money fromRahul to cover up his real health condition.
