Recently, while attending the CinemaCon event in Las Vegas, USA, Charlie Hunnam had the opportunity to reminisce about the process of him and the film crew of "The lost city of Z" moving to the Amazon jungle to film.
“A bolt of lightning hit the speaker system and knocked me down. And I was like, ‘Okay, let’s go!’” Charlie Hunnam shared humorously.

Despite his own near-death experience, Charlie Hunnam still believes that being struck by lightning is not the most “memorable” thing that has happened in the Amazon. The 36-year-old star recalled: “The scariest challenge was in my hotel room, a beetle crawled into my ear and I woke up to the sound of a drill in my ear.”

“I had a similar experience years ago when my girlfriend got a butterfly in her ear, so I know exactly what happened,” Charlie Hunnam shared with a shudder.
The actor also revealed that he tried everything but still could not get the stubborn bug out of his ear. After many attempts, Charlie Hunnam decided to… risk going back to sleep in the hope that when he woke up everything would be peaceful again.
Of course, Charlie Hunnam couldn't sleep with a living creature constantly wriggling in his ear. And eventually, the actor had to ask the film crew to take him to the hospital.
