Serie A star leaves Juventus for China
Midfielder Hernanes becomes the latest recruit to the Chinese Super League by joining Hebei Fortune for around $9 million.
Juventus could receive up to £11 million in transfer fees depending on Hernanes' future appearances, Goal reported on February 6. The Brazilian will sign a two-year contract with Hebei.
Hernanes will join a group of stars who have joined Hebei before. Among them are Ezequiel Lavezzi, Stephane Mbia and former Arsenal and AS Roma striker Gervinho. Hebei’s coach is also a famous coach: Manuel Pellegrini.

Hernanes rose to prominence after winning two Brazilian championships with Sao Paulo. Joining Lazio in 2010, the midfielder has become a star in Serie A as an attacking midfielder.
Hernanes' success at Lazio was a stepping stone to more prestigious clubs. After joining Inter Milan, the 31-year-old signed for Juventus in the summer of 2015.
Due to the intense competition for places at Juventus, Hernanes has only played 24 Serie A games in the past year and a half, with his biggest contribution being two goals.
