Construction site collapses, at least 10 people dead
A hundred meter long wall under construction in Giang Dien Industrial Park suddenly collapsed this afternoon, killing at least 10 people and burying many others.

The incident happened at around 2:15 pm this afternoon at the construction site of AV Healthcare Company (Korean capital, specializing in manufacturing sanitary napkins, diapers, milk bottles, etc.), in Giang Dien Industrial Park (Trang Bom district, Dong Nai province).
According to initial information, at the time, a group of workers were constructing a wall in the company's construction site when the wall suddenly collapsed, burying dozens of people underneath.
Immediately after the accident, authorities and workers used digging equipment to rescue the buried victims.
On the same afternoon, Mr. Phan Huy Anh Vu - Director of Dong Nai Department of Health said that 8 people died at the scene, 2 people died at Trang Bom Hospital.
In addition, 17 other people are being treated in hospitals.

Colonel Van Quyet Thang - Deputy Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police said that they are mobilizing forces to search for victims and take the injured to the emergency room.
The area where the accident happened was a wall about 5m high and 100m long, completely collapsed and tilted to one side. Around there were many scaffoldings, concrete, and steel lying around.

Through initial work, AV Healthcare Company hired a construction unit to build the factory.
After the accident, Sonadezi Giang Dien Joint Stock Company (investor of Giang Dien Industrial Park) coordinated with the authorities to take the victims to the hospital, notified the Management Board of Industrial Parks and Trang Bom district, and sent vehicles to assist in searching for the victims.
